Home Vs Crown A - 17th September 2025

The night began full of optimism after the great start last week. Captains Carl + Wilson sending out their top 2 players out 1st in the singles.........the optimism soon drained away.

Both Wilson and Jacko Jnr froze on the Big stage and lost there respective games after strong starts with the former going down 2-0.

The following 2 games from Josh and Martin followed a similar theme, with some good play up to the doubles but both came up short at the crucial points in the game.

4-0 Down up stepped up the only 2 players with desire and fight to get over the line on the night, Both left in the graveyard 5+6th slots feeling aggrieved, Bonk then Barx both swept in with 2-0 colossal victories to keep the bridge in the game.

4-2 down through the singles, a glimmer of hope was quickly washed away in the doubles with Captain Carl and Jacko Jnr missing on multiple visits to take out the winning doubles.

The match was wrapped up by the Crown A mid way through the doubles, a lesson from the more Senior players in how to win a darts match.

Consolations where picked up in the final doubles game and round the board with Martin coming up big in both of those.

A 10-8 defeat in hour first home league game.
